Brown Hill CC (Ballarat)

Brown Hill CC once again has one team in VWCA competition graded in District Seconds in 2008/09. Last season Brown Hill CC won the 2007/08 District Seconds Premiership. Matches are shared between home games and metropolitan games. Girls at the club are encouraged to participate in Pathways teams and development squads.

The club is very active in promoting cricket in the Ballarat area and the Central Highlands Region, with heavy involvement in regional pathways teams.  Seven of the team members are already qualified Level 1 coaches and are available to assist schools and other clubs to develop initiatives in cricket for women and girls. The Ladies' team trains on Tuesdays from 5.30 pm. The Brown Hill club has a long term plan to build up the women's program, to include a junior girls' team playing in the BCA Competition, thereby creating a complete pathway for females at the club.

Gisborne CC
