The Central Highlands Region is once again to schedule the 4th annual Central Highlands Twenty/20 Club Championship known as the Cricket Willow Cup in season 2008/2009.
Once again with the generous sponsorship of the Cricket Willow, clubs in the Central Highlands region will have the opportunity to progress through to the Finals via Association competitions. All clubs in the regional finals share $2000.00 worth of Jabaroo vouchers as the best Twenty20 Clubs in the region.
The final of the Cricket Willow Cup is played on Australia Day each year at the picturesque Cricket Willow ground (near Daylesford). The day is a showcase event for the Region with the magnificent facilities at Cricket Willow and many spectators turning up enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and excellent media coverage is received from the day.
The competition final follows a Family 6's Day which begins in the morning and finishes just before the main game. A wonderful way to promote cricket in the region.
