Junior Country Weeks

The Central Highlands Region conducts the following inter-association competitions during the first week in January each year. U15 Junior Country Week U13 Junior Country Week History Ballarat Junior Country Week was initiated in the 1960's by the Ballarat Cricket Association (BCA) and during the 1970's Ballarat Junior Country Week, the Region administered the competition, with the help of the BCA - as all games were still played in Ballarat. In the past four years with the Region's control of cricket in Victoria being strengthened the Region's Junior Country Week was re-named Central Highlands Junior Country Week and games are now played across the Region at other venues as well as some still in Ballarat, in a home and away type format.
