The following coach accreditation courses will be offered in the Central Highlands during season 2008/09. Level 0 (Intro 2 Cricket Coaching) The Intro 2 Cricket Course aims to equip parents, teachers and new/potential coaches with the necessary skills and information to become actively involved in a junior cricket program. The course is conducted with a ‘live’ junior audience and provides lots of practical ideas to help coaches provide a safe and enjoyable cricket environment.
A number of Intro 2 Cricket Coaching Courses have been conducted throughout the Region in 2008/09, linking with local Associations. Intro to Cricket - On-line course option NEW Cricket Australia's 'Intro to Cricket' Online Course is now live and available. The interactive resource provides coaches with a teaching aid that will assist them in delivering a variety of skills, activities and games with advice from Australia’s most well-known cricket champions and coaches.
